From Park Features to Persuasive Leaflets: Year 4 in Action

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Lister Park and Cartwright Hall where they experienced the features of the park that made it an exciting place to visit. Their new knowledge about the park will inspire them write a persuasive leaflet encouraging visitors to visit the park. We are excited to read their completed leaflets next week, which will include many of our toolkit features such as superlatives and persuasive language to encourage a reader to visit.  They were delighted to see the Turner Prize exhibition in Cartwright Hall that left many of our children mesmerized! Next week they are looking forward to producing their finished artwork drawings on Victorian architecture using water colours.
