Our Year 5 pupils are excited to start their new Literacy work. They are writing an Earthquake survival guide (information leaflet) starting with a ‘Stop, Cover, Hold’ earthquake drill in our classroom complete with blaring siren. Keeping on the natural disaster theme, in Art we have been blending colours and using differing shapes to depict water in a tsunami or flood. Next week your children are looking forward to our Hindu temple visit and some classes will be visiting the woodland to have hands on experiences with forces.
