Year 6 have really enjoyed writing their tales of fear this week using features of suspense. In Topic lessons Year 6 have learnt about Captain James Cook and the route he sailed; we saw a statue of him on our recent trip. A group of Year 6 also visited a publishing house this week, learning new skills and inspiring them for an aspirational future. Next week Year 6 will continue to build their lighthouse models and practice using water colours to create artwork pieces based upon our trip to Whitby.
