It has been a great first full week in Year 5. Together we have enjoyed our community session in the woodlands creating beautiful letters out of natural materials. We have written amazing poems about a volcanic eruption, focusing on personification, similes and alliteration. The vocabulary choices of all children has been outstanding during this poetry work. Next week we look forward to welcoming parents to our GLEE on Friday and inviting them into our reading lesson.
