The children have made a fantastic start to Year 2 this week and have all settled back in well to their Heaton routines. They have all enjoyed being in their new classrooms, with their new teachers, showing their STARS. The children have been using the base 10 to make 2 digit numbers and did this brilliantly using teamwork. They have enjoyed thinking about being explorers and created their own telescope. Next week they are looking forward to using maps to find out where real life explorers went and the places they discovered.
