Reception had a fantastic Sports Day this week! It was wonderful to see so many children and parents getting involved and enjoying the activities together.
The field was buzzing with excitement as we rotated around a variety of fun sports stations, including the bean bag race, hoops, javelin, egg and spoon race, hurdle race, and ladder race. The children gave it their all, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination throughout the morning.
To round off the celebrations, everyone enjoyed a well-earned treat of refreshing juice and biscuits — the perfect way to end a fun-filled afternoon.
A big thank you to all the adults who came along to cheer on the children and joined in with the activities. Your support made the morning even more special!
As we reach the end of our final full week in Reception, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on what a fantastic year it’s been. The children have grown and developed across all areas of learning and have become confident, well-rounded individuals.
We’re looking forward to spending our last two days together next week, cherishing our time in Reception. Wishing everyone a wonderful summer break and a happy, successful start to Year 1!
