This week in Year 2, we’ve been embracing creativity and curiosity across the curriculum. In art, the children created striking layered puffins using black and white paper, inspired by paper layering techniques. Our handwriting lessons have taken a leap forward as we begin joining letters with growing confidence. In Maths, we’ve enjoyed hands-on exploration of weight and volume, applying our skills to find the difference in mass between chosen objects. Next week, we’re looking forward to Sports Day — a joyful celebration of teamwork and determination — where we warmly welcome all parents to cheer us on and join in!
