Year 5 are so excited this week as the butterflies have hatched from the caterpillars in each classroom! Year 5 are learning about life cycles in their science lessons and watching these butterflies transform has supported their understanding. Year 5 have also enjoyed watching the Year 6 performance, they are looking forward to next year! Next week Year 5 will enjoy a trip to Beckfoot Upper Heaton to explore different subjects and will also enjoy their sports event on Monday.
