This week, Year 3 enjoyed using drama techniques such as Conscience Alley to deepen their understanding of a Warning Tale. This technique allowed them to develop their oracy skills by trying to decide and justify whether the main character should carry out a particular action. In Design and Technology, Year 3 have been using a paste resist technique to create cloth book backgrounds, ready for sewing lessons next week. In English, they have enjoyed innovating their own Warning Tale, using guided practice time and our toolkit features to enhance their writing. Next week, Year 3 are looking forward to completing their Design and Technology projects.
