This week was a great week for Year 2. They had many visitors from Year 6 who helped them with number facts in Maths and sewing skills in D.T. The children were using their colour matching skills and had an opportunity to design their puppets. They practiced their overstitch and, together with a few parents, they started sewing their puppets this week. The children are also continuing their throwing and catching skill practice in P.E. lessons. They used underarm and overarm throws in partner and group games to hit the targets. Next week, we are looking forward to finishing and evaluating our puppets so we can take them home and use them to retell stories, such as Fantastic Mr. Fox.
