Brilliant beanstalks

This week 3yn have focused on the beanstalk that grew in the story ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk’. We have focused on cutting skills cutting to support fine motor development. Children have particularly enjoyed cutting out leaves to the join onto their own beanstalks. We have also been painting our own beanstalks on the easel. In PE we have been focusing on hand, eye co-ordination and have practiced throwing a ball through a hoop. We have also continued working on name writing and writing the new phonics sounds that have been taught this week.
