Year 4 have really enjoyed innovating Voice in the Park to tell the story from the point of view of a different character. They have taken on the challenge of writing in the first person and this has helped them to really empathise with the main character. In Maths, the children have started learning about area and perimeter and have been using mental strategies to calculate the perimeter of rectilinear shapes. In Geography, the children have really enjoyed learning about the human and physical features of Ilkley.
