We loved Ian’s Mobile Farm visit

#6 Animal lover

At the end of last week Ian’s Mobile Farm visited school and the children were so excited to see and spend some time with the animals. They had the opportunities to learn names of the farm animals, learn about different shelters the animals live in and what they eat. During the farm visit the children were able to stroke and brush the animals. They saw a dog, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, a miniature horse, a Shetland pony, and alpacas! This week’s learning has been focused on the children applying their knowledge of farm animals to build and write sentences. Have a go at home with your child, ask them what animals they saw and see if they can try and write- ‘I saw a ____’.  Send your teacher a picture on Seesaw!
