The first week back was eventful for Year 2. They went to the Woodlands to re-enact the Fantastic Mr. Fox story and used oracy skills to explain the sequence to their partners. The children were excited to have an opportunity to use their imagination and learn the essential vocabulary through Drama practices. They were inspired to write detailed sentences when practising using the conjunction ‘or’. In Maths, they had the opportunity to handle money and practised their skills to recognise various coins, not only their appearance but also their value. Next week, we are looking forward to learning about plant needs and planting our class plants to observe the best conditions for their growth.
