Year 3 Wormery day

As part of our topic on soil Year 3 have been learning about the importance of worms. We made a wormery with Mr Mawson and collected lots of wiggly worms to live in our class wormeries. We are going to watch over the coming weeks to see the worms at work, mixing the soil up, creating tunnels for drainage and eating the dead organic materials. We loved learning about wonderful worms! 😀
