Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

School closure update

Good evening.
We apologise for this late information.
As you may have seen on the news this evening, the Prime Minister announced that schools will close for most pupils from tomorrow, Tuesday 5th January and learn remotely.
Here are the plans for the short term:
Tomorrow - Tuesday 5th January - school will be closed for all pupils to allow us to prepare effectively for these national changes.
Please see the school website for learning apps and links for tomorrow. However, if you are a critical worker and have urgent need for childcare tomorrow, please email office@beckfootheaton.org tonight or tomorrow morning. The phone lines will be open from 7.30a.m. Please do not just arrive at the school.
Wednesday - some groups of children will be able to return to the school building for learning, these are vulnerable groups and children of critical workers. More information about this will follow tomorrow.  However, please contact us if you have urgent need for childcare.
We are going to be keeping in touch by the telephone, Ping, Facebook and the website. If you need any help and are worried about anything or anyone, please contact school on 01274 363070, email the school office at office@beckfootheaton.org.
We will get through this if we work together as a community, be kind to each other and follow the advice about keeping safe.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We’ll be in touch again tomorrow.
