Reception class admissions deadline

Applied for your child's reception class place yet?

If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 you need to apply now for a reception class place.

The deadline for applications is 15 January.

If you do not apply by this date, your child may not get a place at your preferred primary school. You should already have received information about making an application from your child’s current nursery or through the post in mid-November. You can apply online on the Bradford Council website. If you require support, the Admissions Team can be contacted at Primaryadmissions@bradford.gov.uk.

You must apply through the authority in which your child is resident. You can apply for schools located in other local authorities on this application. You will be able to view as well as amend your online application any time until the 15 January closing date. Receipt of online application will be acknowledged via an automated email.

Some schools have supplementary information forms (SIFs) which may need to be completed in addition to the council online application.
