Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Our Curriculum Maps

Teachers use the national curriculum, the jigsaw PHSE curriculum, the school values and needs of the community to create a curriculum plan.  This is plotted onto the school curriculum map through a range of lively and engaging topics based on high quality children’s literature. Each year group plots these topics into the year to make the best use of the seasons, the school grounds and the local area. Trips and visitors are also plotted in to provide a variety of experiences and develop rich vocabulary.

The curriculum plan for each year group is listed below.  Also below is our topic curriculum by subject.
